Wilwood's SL-GT caliper has been designed specifically for NASCAR super speedway applications. Utilizing Wilwood's sophisticated SL III caliper body, the new SL-GT version has extended 5.25" GT mounting ears to accommodate Wilwood's large diameter (12.9") lightweight fixed and dynamic mount rotors. The caliper comes in versions to fit .38" and 1.25" rotor widths, and utilize standard Superlite pad configurations. These setups are extremely lightweight (4.6 pounds), yet provide plenty of brake torque to stop a stock car at super speedway speeds. Stainless steel heat shielding, differential piston bores, double bridge bolts, external stiffening ribs and a black anodized finish are all part of these sophisticated, track specific calipers.
