We start with a .035" Under Sized Bore Block. The block is then matched up with a side cover and line bored with a EZ-Bore machine. The finished bore is 2.675". The block will need to be honed to fit the piston.
The block has a tall deck, the piston will be about .030" in the hole.
Heat cycling of the block helps to prevent the shifting of the cylinder bore once it is run.
We also offer these options on the line board block, honed, decked and heat cycled. Options can be picked at the bottom of the page on the right-hand side.
We have sold a lot of these blocks to majar engine builders.
